A sister mission is looking for a skid steer with pallet forks to be used in food ministry. They are 501c3 and this will also help us get food for our families.

A tax receipt can be provided and some funds are available for used but not new equipment. Also accepting financial donations towards purchasing needed equipment.

We are located in Beattyville Kentucky but willing for you to drive farther to deliver! ; )

Holler if you can help meet this need. I do vouch it’s valid and it sure would help us as well.

Some of the much much older girls at the nursing home have requested baby doll clothes, diaper bags and diapers for their baby dolls so keep them in mind as you shop! I said I will get right on that project for them! Diaper bags are trending at the nursing home— who knew? How adorable 🥰

Sharing a few photos of families attending back to school events and having photos made. Sunday at 2 will be makeup day. Sherry will post dozens of photos she took I’m only adding a few from my phone.

Monday our home school co op meets to make schedules for fall session.

Summer was fun and productive and lots of loads of donations helped families through outreach in God’s name.

Now it’s time to do fundraising and paperwork. The amount of new clothing and shoes distributed cost a lot in addition to what was donated. We would appreciate donations sent online or through snail mail to build back the bank account which is very depleted.

Keep the ministry in prayer and the kids as they adjust to school again! We appreciate and love each of you!

Appalachian Ministries Families:
Back to School Photos and pick up school clothes
THURS July 30 2026 4-7pm

photos, food, VBS crafts, games, free yard sale

Student Photos only. Family photo session planned for fall. Pictures will be FREE and uploaded to Facebook.

You may need to park on the road. If you have health problems drive up front or send for a wheelchair. We don’t have much parking but we don’t want anyone sick.

If you have not attended events this year you may not receive a bag of new clothes for each child but you are welcome to attend as we will be giving out extra items.

Get back on the list for Christmas by attending! Outreach is based on need and participation. I love everyone but we must have rules.
