🙌😭 WHEN GOD SHOWS UP, HE DOESN’T JUST MEET THE GOAL… HE DOUBLES IT! 🙌❤️
I honestly don’t even know where to begin, because what happened at our Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry Donor Event was something ONLY GOD COULD DO! 🙏
From the incredible businesses that donated, to every person who walked through those doors, to the physical donations, the volunteers, the prayers, the generosity, and the overwhelming love and support… every single piece was a reminder that GOD IS IN THIS! ❤️
But y’all… LET ME TELL YOU WHAT GOD DID! 👇
🎯 My goal was $600.
God allowed us to DOUBLE that goal through sales alone! And just when I thought I couldn’t be any more amazed, He sent a donor who matched those dollars, dollar for dollar! 😭🙌
WHAT?!? ONLY GOD!
And He wasn’t finished!
He brought another donor into the picture who had so much bread leftover. She could have sold it, but did not. When I say SO MUCH, I mean we STILL have a freezer full! 🥖❤️ And through that blessing, we were even able to provide a mini box for her as well. Isn’t that just like God? Taking care of the people who help take care of others!
And what did He allow us to do with some of that overflow?
❤️ Share goodies with a special-needs school right next door.
❤️ Bless our local fire department.
❤️ Take goodies to City Hall.
❤️ Continue spreading love and kindness throughout our community.
DO YOU SEE WHAT GOD DID HERE?
What started as a donor event to raise money for our pantry became something so much bigger than sales, donations, or a fundraising goal. It became an opportunity to SERVE, to GIVE, to LOVE, and to let our community experience the goodness of God in real, tangible ways.
I need you to understand something: I WAS NEVER CAPABLE OF DOING THIS ON MY OWN. BUT GOD WAS! 🙌
I have limitations. I have struggles. I have days when I wonder how all of this is going to come together. But God has continued to show me that this ministry was never supposed to be about what I could accomplish. It has always been about what HE could do through willing hearts.
He brought the businesses.
He brought the donors.
He brought the volunteers.
He brought the people.
He brought the provisions.
And He made a way where I could only see a need.
If you have ever questioned whether God is still working, whether generosity matters, or whether one small church and one little food pantry can make a difference, let this be your reminder:
GOD IS STILL IN THE BUSINESS OF DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE! ❤️🔥
To every business that donated, every person who shopped, every person who gave, every volunteer who served, and every person who prayed for us: THANK YOU! You may think you were just dropping off an item, purchasing a goodie, or giving a little money, but you were part of something much bigger than you know.
You helped us feed our community. You helped us keep this ministry moving forward. And you helped us share blessings beyond the walls of our church.
This is what Kingdom work looks like. This is what community looks like. This is what happens when we put what we have into God’s hands and trust Him with the rest.
LOAVES AND FISHES FOOD PANTRY IS A TESTIMONY THAT GOD CAN TAKE WHAT LITTLE WE HAVE AND DO MORE THAN WE COULD EVER IMAGINE! 🐟🍞❤️
All glory, all honor, and all praise belong to HIM!
Because at the end of the day, I cannot take the credit.
I DIDN’T DO THIS. GOD DID! 🙌😭❤️
And we are just getting started!
