Maybe I’ve lost my mind or maybe just looking for something fun to try but high school youth made a quick change to regular summer night youth group and we are going to hit up the state fair this evening!

So here are the details: we will be leaving the church at 3:30. we are asking students to bring at least $15 dollars if you are able (more preferred if possible but no stress I will have some money on me for those who simply don’t have it. We want you to still come anyway!) Admission is $5 and we know food can get expensive. We will aim to be back to Beardstown around 8:30 or 9:00 as we know there is school in the morning.

Might be the worst decision as the youth minister or might be the best…..time will tell 😂😂

No high school youth tonight. We will meet next Sunday night at 6:30.

Last week of summer activities for Jr High youth group today 1-3pm. We are going to try and swim at a private pool if the weather holds off. Bring a swimsuit (modest and appropriate please) with you to the youth room and we will make the decision from there!

Let’s finish out strong. It’s been a great group this summer!

High School youth tonight 6:30-8pm! We will be hanging out and planning for CIY Sunday. Great chance to keep the energy going from CIY. Didn’t go to CIY? No worries, be awesome to have you with us tonight as well! See you at 6:30

Jr High youth is on for today from 1-3pm. Just a couple weeks left for summer activities. Grab a friend and come hang out with us this afternoon!

Parent here is the CIY travel update. We just stopped in Mt. Vernon for lunch and have 3 hours left in the trip! Been a great week and can’t wait to tell you all about it!!

CIY update: we made it to the hotel and finally eating supper! Short trip tomorrow and we will be there.

High school student a few quick reminders:
1. No youth tonight July the 5th. We will meet next Sunday July 12th.
2. If you are attending CIY this year please make sure that you fill out the medical release form that was emailed to you at the student/parent meeting. I cannot get you in the conference without it! Hope you enjoyed your weekend and see you next week!

There will be an important student/parent meeting this Sunday night 6/28 at 5pm for those attending CIY this year. At the meeting you will hear about the schedule for the week as well as travel arrangements and hotel stay. We will also settle up on final payments that evening. Please plan to be apart of this meeting as a lot of information will be talked about. High School youth meeting will follow the meeting that evening. Thanks and see you Sunday!
