What an incredible Sunday at Love of Christ Church! 🙌🏽💥

Pastor Kirk Pearson wrapped up our “Gratitude Adjustment” series with a powerful message on “Unconditional Gratitude,” asking: “Is your gratitude circumstantial, or is it a lifestyle?”

Drawing from Psalm 30, we were reminded that God was with us in our past, is present with us today, & will be faithful in our future. Because “His favor lasts a lifetime” (Psalm 30:5), we can trust His goodness & choose gratitude in every season.

We also celebrated a special milestone during our second service at the Bear Campus as we ordained Landon Pearson as Pastor! 🎉 Join us in congratulating Pastor Landon & praying for him as he steps into his new role as Unite Student Pastor, investing in & leading the next generation. 🙏🏽🤍

“Attitude is like a flat tire. You don’t get anywhere until you fix it.”

Today was on 🔥 as Pastor continued our series, “Gratitude Adjustment.” He challenged us to examine our hearts and surrender the attitudes that keep us from fully reflecting Christ:

➡️ Resentment ↪️ Forgiveness
➡️ Coveting ↪️ Contentment
➡️ Greed ↪️ Generosity
➡️ People-Pleasing ↪️ God-Pleasing

Lasting change only happens when we allow God to transform our hearts from the inside out.

As you go into this week, ask the Lord to reveal any attitude that needs adjusting and trust Him to do the work only He can do.

Our gratitude is a guide to get us through our struggle!

Shout out to Pastor who taught us the difference between being thankful FOR something and being thankful IN something.

We don’t have to thank the trial, but when we remain thankful that the God of the universe walks beside us, we stay near to the heart of the Father so we come out of the dark and into HIS marvelous light.

We have so many fun things on the horizon, but we can’t wait to see YOU at the night of worship TONIGHT!

Today, we pause to honor the men & women who gave their lives for our freedom. We pray we would never take their sacrifice for granted, but live each day with gratitude & use the freedoms they fought for to bring hope, goodness, & healing to our country.
