Class is back in session! Next Sunday we are celebrating all of our students & teachers who are starting the 2026-2027 school year.

Before we get there, we want to share just 5 Ways to Pray for Students & Teachers Heading Back to School 🍎📚

1️⃣ Wisdom & Understanding
Lord, grant students and teachers wisdom in their studies, lessons, and daily decisions. May they seek You first and lean on Your guidance in all they do. — James 1:5

2️⃣ Protection & Safety
Father, cover every student, teacher, and school with Your protection. Keep them safe from harm and danger, and let Your peace guard their hearts. — Psalm 121:7–8

3️⃣ Strength & Endurance
God, give students perseverance to learn well and teachers endurance to teach with patience and joy. Remind them of Your abiding presence every day. — Joshua 1:9

4️⃣ Godly Friendships & Relationships
Lord, surround students with uplifting, Christ-centered friendships, and help them shine as beacons of light in their schools and communities. — 1 Corinthians 15:33

5️⃣ Peace & Joy in the School Year
Father, let Your joy and peace fill classrooms and hallways. Replace stress with calm, fear with confidence, and anxiety with the assurance of Your presence. — Nehemiah 8:10

No one is disqualified from God’s plan. We are the only ones who disqualify ourselves!

Today marked the first Sunday in our new series “Not My Pick”. All about how God uses ordinary people for his extraordinary plan.

Last night we learned to walk in wonder again.

That was the goal: from the funnel cakes and coffee and all the incredible food trucks outside, to our sweet stops and giveaways, but most importantly the songs we sang and the message we heard reflected the Father’s heart for us to be children, completely reliant on His love and safety.

No matter what age or stage we are in, we needed to be reminded to lean not on our OWN understanding, but instead give every aspect of our lives back to Him so we can walk in that wonder that we heard so much about. 💛💐

God sees YOU!

Pastor Frankie Powell gave us a message that was not just for us, but also a meaningful testament from his life of God’s loving eyes.

Eyes that see us and know us, He is the God of ALL our days, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

God makes all things work for our good, and has never abandoned us. Psalm 139 shows us just how much God thinks about us, and we are thankful it’s never-ending!
