In Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said, "'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments." It is our goal to humbly serve not only other church members but the rest of the world as well.

Just a glimpse into Homecoming 2026.
IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!!
It was so great to have A Li’l Grace bring sweet worship! The church was filled with families and friends and some new faces that are family now! Pastor Bob brought a timely Word from the Lord “Time For A Decision” from Exodus 33:12-14.
We even got closer (literally) trying to pack into the fellowship hall to avoid the heat for a delicious meal! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate another year of God’s goodness, and remember those who went to their heavenly home in the past year. God has blessed BCBC beyond measure!!! To Him be all the glory.

This Wednesday (6/10) is FAMILY NIGHT! Come join us for a meal together at 6pm in the fellowship hall. After the meal the adults will stay in place for Bible Study while the kids and youth head upstairs for Missions Classes and Kids/Youth Choir Practice. It all ends at 7:30PM and we welcome everyone for a great time of growing in Jesus!

We welcome you to share in our HOMECOMING CELEBRATION on Sunday, June 14th! Everyone is invited for SPECIAL MUSIC by Just A Li'l Grace at 10:15am with our Worship Service beginning at 11:00am. Included in our worship will be a special time of remembering those who went to be with the Lord since our 2025 Homecoming. Lunch on the grounds (and indoors) will be served up after the service. The main course meats; chicken and ham, will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite side dishes and desserts. Beverages are provided. Bring your families for a wonderful day in the Lord as we celebrate all that God has done, and continues to do , in the life of Bear Creek Baptist Church.

We invite you to be with us this Sunday, May 31st, as we honor our 2026 Graduates, from the smallest to the tallest! That’s right… we have Pre-K, Kindergarten and High School Grads to celebrate in our morning worship service at 11am.
Our Children’s/Youth Choir has special music for them as well. It’s going to be a great day and we’d love to have you share it with us!

Memorial Day was special at Bear Creek!
Mr. Doug started out in the children’s sermon with photos of two family members that paid the ultimate sacrifice and never came home from serving their country. They were both close to 19 years old. One was also related to Mrs. Shirley. He used one of our upcoming graduates, Sallie Oldham, in his object lesson, to show our young people how old these soldiers were.
Then in Children’s Church, Miss Hillary gave each student American flags and they all went out into the church cemetery and placed them on graves of soldiers. Prayer was made at both memorials for the families of these special heroes. I think the children will remember this for years to come❤️🇺🇸
