2026 Vacation Bible School (VBS) – Registration Now Open!

Join us for a fun-filled week of faith, fellowship, worship, games, crafts, music, and exciting Bible adventures! Vacation Bible School is a wonderful opportunity for children to grow in their faith, make new friends, and learn about God’s love in an engaging and interactive environment.

What: Vacation Bible School 2026
When: 20–24 July 2026
Where: Foothills Chapel
Ages: Pre-K through 6th Grade (up to 12 years old)

Parents are encouraged to pre-register their children to help us prepare for a successful week of VBS.

Volunteers Needed:
We are also seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with activities, crafts, games, snacks, and classroom support. Youth and adults are welcome to sign up and help make this year’s VBS a memorable experience for our children.

Military Spiritual Mentoring Opportunity at Beale AFB

Greetings, Catholic Community!

Are you looking for a meaningful way to support fellow military members in their faith journey? Or are you new to military life and seeking guidance from someone who has walked the path before you?

Military Spiritual Mentoring, sponsored by the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, is coming to Beale AFB!

Retired Air Force Colonel Suzy Streeter will be visiting to recruit, on Monday, 1 June 2026 @ 1130 to 12:30, located at Valley Center, 2nd Floor. Free pizza will be provided.

Mentors – Practicing Catholics with at least 10 years of military experience who are willing to accompany and encourage others in their faith.

Mentees – Catholic service members and spouses who are new to military life and seeking spiritual support, encouragement, and guidance.

Mentor training consists of four virtual sessions during Summer 2026, and mentor-mentee pairs will meet monthly for six months.

Join us for a Community Prayer Walk in celebration of the National Day of Prayer.

On this 75th National Day of Prayer, we join millions across the country in seeking God’s guidance, peace, and blessing. Join in unity as we lift our Beale community, leaders, families, and nation before God. Whether this is your first prayer walk or one of many, your presence makes a difference. Walk is less than 1.5 miles.

The Beale Chaplain Corps, in partnership with The Nevada County Food Bank, is hosting a food distribution Friday, 8 May, from 1100 to 1300, or until supplies last. The distribution will take place in the parking lot between the OMNI and Thrift Store.

This event is open to the Beale AFB community with NO restrictions based on rank, duty status, or civilian status. All are welcome to come and receive food during the designated time.

Is something weighing on you? You’re invited to join us for a dedicated prayer time at Foothills Chapel every Tuesday from 1100 to 1200.

Stay for as long or as little as you’d like. A chaplain will be available to pray with you, or you can simply submit a prayer request. You may share it anonymously or include your name whatever you’re comfortable with.

Today, September 24th, is my last day of work at St. Mary's. It is with great love that I served for 13 years.
