This Sunday, we continue our series with “Come and Dine: When the Spirit Fills the House.”
Acts 2 reminds us that the saints were gathered, the Spirit filled the house, Peter preached the Word, and the church became a table of fellowship, prayer, and shared life.
We are preparing the table, giving them a menu, and making room in the house to feed the multitude — because we have come to dine today on the Spirit of the Most High God.

Psalm 23 reminds us that God is not only our Shepherd—He is also our Host. He prepares a table, even in the presence of enemies. The pressure may be real, but so is the provision.

Before Timothy was launched by Paul, he was fed by Lois and Eunice. His mother and grandmother gave him more than care—they gave him sincere faith, Scripture, prayer, correction, love, and spiritual formation.
This Mother’s Day, we honor the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, church mothers, and women of faith who have been feeding generations.
Some of us are still standing because of what was served at Momma’s table.
