This sermon explores how God brings healing to our minds and hearts, reminding us that while encouraging Jesus happens in a moment, healing and spiritual formation are often a process/journey. Through Jesus’ gradual healing of the blind man in Mark 8, we discover that partial healing is not a failed healing—it’s healing in progress, and that God often uses other people to help carry us toward wholeness.

We will listen to testimonies of people coming back from a trip to a monastery in Taize, France. The Taizé Community is an ecumenical (cross-denominational) Christian monastic order located in Burgundy, France. Founded in 1940 by the Swiss Reformed Protestant Brother Roger Schütz, it is famous for hosting tens of thousands of young adults yearly for retreats, as well as its unique, meditative style of worship.
