We had a clean up day at St. Margaret's today. Some of the Ladies Sodality did a fantastic job of tidying up Mary's garden in the front yard. Well done Tien, Ha, Rhonda, Karen, Natali, Carolyn special rhanks to Mr. Joe for picking up some mulch so we could finish the job today.

FYI…St. Margaret’s 75th Annual Blessing of the Fleet Land Parade will be Sunday May 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm. EVERYONE is welcome to participate in this parade. Line up is at 1:30 pm at the Bayou La Batre Civic Center. Alma Bryant’s Band, Color Guard and Azalea Trail Maids will enter the parade from Greer’s parking lot. To participate, we just ask that there be no political decorum and no vulgar song lyrics played during the parade. Thomas Phan organizes the Jeep Club portion of our land parade! I am very appreciative for his help and participation in this parade!! Thank you to him and all of the Jeep club members!! We look forward to seeing everyone!!! This is a special commemorative year for our Fleet Blessing and would love to see all vehicles decorated!!! Bring your throws and let’s have an awesome parade!!! ❤️🤍💙 PLEASE SHARE‼️

At St. Margarets Blessing of the Fleet the Ladies Sodality will raffle off a beautiful hand made cedar lined chest filled with a variety of bed and household linens. This chest was crafted and made by ourbrother Alan Raley who has since been called home to our Lord.

Raffle tickets are for sale by members of the Ladies Sodality for $1 each or 6 for $5. The raffle will be Sunday afternoon May 5. If you wish to purchase tickets you may contact me T (251)767-3138.

Fleet Blessing 2024 will be held the weekend of May 4-5. We are in the beginnings of planning. The application forms will be updated for use from this page. If you wish to participate as a vendor, gumbo cookoff or decorated boat contestant please send in your application. You may contact our office with further questions or concerns.
