Since opening The Giving Cow Food Pantry in 2011 we have had the opportunity to serve many families throughout La Plata County. While most of those who use our pantry are from the communities of Bayfield and Ignacio, the pantry is open to anyone in need. The Giving Cow Food Pantry is located in the south wing of Pine

r. We will have you tell us a little about your situation, fill out a short form with your contact information and then you can shop for what you need. We are also able to provide you with information on other resources available in our community such as shelter, medical care, and job placement assistance. Before you leave we will ask if you have any needs that we can pray about with you. The food available in the pantry depends on recent donations. Spring through fall we are blessed by “The Giving Garden” and are able to provide fresh produce such as squash, lettuce, carrots, radishes and tomatoes. Often times we will have fresh eggs and bread available too
