Faith United Church of Christ Bayard Faith UCC In Bayard Nebraska. We are a United Church of Christ congregation in a small community o acknowledging that God is still speaking.

We began as the German Evangelical Lutheran Zion Church in 1917 as a community of German immigrants from Russia. This tradition later merged with the Reformed Church and we became the Zion Evangelic Reformed Church. Then in 1961 we joined the United Church of Christ as other Evangelic Reformed churches had done, and became Zion United Church of Christ. In 1963 the name was changed to Faith United

Church of Christ. Today we are a mixture of many ethnic backgrounds, with people who have come from many different faith traditions within Christianity. We are a community who embraces the value of old traditions while building new ones.

Hi all. Holy Week is almost here. Palm Sunday and confirmation for Mackenzie Liakos! Then Maundy Thursday service at 7:00 PM followed then with our celebration of Christ’s resurrection on Easter morning at 7:00 AM with brunch following the service and an Easter egg hunt for the children after that. I hope you will come and worship the new life we have in Christ. Pastor Tom

Just a reminder that our Ash Wednesday service is Feb. 14th at 7:00 at this service we also incorporate a candle light service of contemplation and release of the past years regrets and anxieties. Hope you will all think of giving it a try if you haven’t been to one before.

Hear ye hear ye, come one and all. This Sunday November 12th 2017 we are celebrating 100 years of congregational ministry in Bayard Nebraska. We are having a special service at 10:00 am with a banquet afterwards. Then an afternoon program at 1:30 pm. Special guests and lots of special music. Your are invited come help us celebrate.
