This week, Bay Shore United Methodist Church was honored to welcome Suffolk County Legislator Steve Flotteron and members of his team.

Through the generosity of Legislator Flotteron’s office, our church has received an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), a lifesaving device that can make a critical difference during a medical emergency. We are grateful to be able to provide this important resource for our congregation, visitors, and the wider community.

Bay Shore UMC is proud to serve as a registered AED location, helping to make our church a safer place for all.

The New Testament Lesson will be 2 Corinthians 13:11-13; our Psalter reading will be Psalm 8 (Response #1); and our Gospel Lesson will be Matthew28:16-20.

Pastor Daniel’s sermon title will be “Trinity? Trinity!”.

We will sing “Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty” - Hymn #64; “We Believe in One True God" - Hymn #85, and “Lord, You Give the Great Commision" - Hymn #584. Our choir will sing “Holy”, by Craig Courtney, as our Ministry of Music.

The New Testament Lesson will be Acts 2: 1-21; our Psalter reading will be Psalm 104: 24-35; and our Gospel Lesson will be John 20: 19-23.

Pastor Daniel’s sermon title will be “When the Spirit Comes”.

We will sing “I’m Gonna Sing When the Spirit Says Sing” - Hymn #333; “Eternal Father, Strong to Save" - Hymn #2191, and “Spirit Song" - Hymn #347. Please join us this Sunday, May 3rd 2026, at 10:00AM EDT as we celebrate the Fifth Sunday of Easter, and Holy Communion.

The New Testament Lesson will be 1 Peter 2:2-10; our Psalter reading will be Psalm 31:1-8 (Response #2); and our Gospel Lesson will be John 14:1-14.

Pastor Daniel’s sermon title will be “God’s Chosen People”.

We will sing “The Church’s One Foundation”- Hymn #545, "His Eye Is on the Sparrow" - Hymn #2146, and “My Hope Is Built" - Hymn #368. Our choir will sing “Remember Me”, by Aaron Adams, as our Ministry of Music.

As part of our worship service we will share Holy Communion. Everyone is welcome to participate in Communion – you don’t need to be a member of our congregation or indeed of any church – you just have to desire to feel closer to Jesus and do this “In Remembrance of Him”. Children are welcome - parents can tell them this is one way we remember Jesus and the things He did for us - and we invite your entire family to take part.

Communion will be served at the altar. If you do not want to participate at the altar, the prepackaged host and juice cups will be available to you when you enter the sanctuary. Please ask an usher for one when you enter.
