Pastor Modeste is an ordained elder in the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Our current membership of about 450 persons reflects both the diversity of the community and our commitment to the Methodist tradition of a church and congregation “open to all ages, nations, and races.”

Please join us this Sunday August 30th at 9:30AM EDT as we celebrate the Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost.

The New Testament Lesson will be Romans 12:9-21; and our Gospel Lesson will be Matthew 16:21-28.

The Reverend Dr. Elon J. Sylvester will deliver his sermon.

We will sing “Take Up Thy Cross” - Hymn #415; “The Gift of Love" - Hymn #408, and “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus" - Hymn #2129. Ed Shirley will sing “His Eye Is on the Sparrow”, by Charles Gabriel, as our Ministry of Music.

Patsy Blair will be our lay reader. Adwoa Ababio and Marvin Allen will be our greeters/ushers. Sam Owusu, and Tom Wilson will keep us live streaming into your homes. Special thanks to Yvonne Sing for putting together the PowerPoint presentation.
