Happy Labor Day from Our Lady of the Gulf!

Today, we give thanks for the gift and dignity of work and pray for all workers, especially those seeking employment or facing difficulties in their workplaces.

May the example of St. Joseph the Worker teach us to perform our daily duties with humility, faithfulness, and love—offering all our work to God for His glory and the good of others.

Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Teresa of Calcutta, a beautiful witness of humility, compassion, and joyful service.

Mother Teresa saw the face of Jesus in the poor, the lonely, the sick, and the forgotten. Her life reminds us that holiness often begins with small acts of love offered faithfully each day.

May we follow her example by noticing those around us, serving with tenderness, and bringing Christ’s love wherever it is needed most.

Today, on this First Saturday, we honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary—a heart completely devoted to God and filled with love for each of her children.

Let us offer our prayers, sacrifices, and Rosary in reparation for sin and for the conversion of hearts. May Our Blessed Mother lead us ever closer to the Sacred Heart of her Son.

**For Women:** Join us this First Saturday for Women’s Wellness Support—a welcoming morning for women of every age and fitness level. Enjoy gentle exercise, a healthy breakfast, coffee, fellowship, and support as we grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit.

**For Men:** The Men’s Core Group meets every Saturday immediately following the 7:30 AM Mass in the Christian Life Center for Bible study, discipleship formation, and fellowship.
