Those of us here at the Great Lakes Dream Center and Mary Rathke Ministries are honored to host this event and create a time of refreshing, renewal and connection for each of you with other women in your situation. Sometimes it's hard to be "friends" with the women in your town, so hopefully you will meet a few new women that you can connect with from other areas in Michigan, who are also pastor's wives.

Our Keynote speaker at this year's conference is a pastor's wife from New York!

Rebecca Beidel, LMFT Counselor is a New York State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and received her master’s from the Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. She has four children with her husband who is a pastor and church planter. They have been married for almost 30 years, she has many years of experience counseling and teaching in the urban church context. She teaches pastoral counseling and spiritual formation as an adjunct professor in the Pastoral Ministries Department at the Nyack College New York City campus. Rebecca is a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and counsels premarital and married couples, individuals and families on many issues including depression, grief, anxiety, communication and relational conflict. She has a passion for working with ministry and missionary families on issues of boundaries, compassion fatigue and burnout. She is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Rebecca is a native New Yorker who enjoys reading on the beach, camping and canoeing with her husband and four young adult children, seeing great films, visiting museums, and eating and cooking all kinds of ethnic foods.

Vickie Atchinson will be a speaker at this year's PWO conference. She has been a pastor's wife for 26 years. Married to her High School sweetheart for 39 years. They have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren. Vickie is a talented gospel Singer and has preformed at a variety of venues. She has recorded five CD projects. Vickie is also an anointed speaker, and can relate to all the roles of the pastor's wife.
