Many of us knew Herschel and Reba Hicks when they were in the Bay City Ward. Reba passed away this weekend. Funeral services will be in El Campo at the Wheeler Funeral Home on Thursday, March 11. Viewing will be from 2-3, with the service to commence at 3:00 for those interested in attending.

There will be no ward council this Sunday. The church building is CLOSED until further notice. Hopefully, it will only be a month or so for demo and re construction. Aaron will send an email letting the ward know that the church is closed and we will have our normal church meeting on zoom at 9:30 am on Sunday. Thanks Bishop Nance
Dear Ward Family,

Due to the recent flooding in our building extensive repairs are needed to restore it to its pre-flooding condition. We're very blessed that the resources are available for these repairs, but they will not be completed overnight and some sacrifice on our part will be required. To accommodate the repairs on the building the following changes will be taking place:

The church building is closed for use, effective immediately. It is unknown how long it will be closed.
Sacrament Meeting will be held virtually, until further notice, via Zoom at 9:30AM using the Zoom information that was sent out last week. If you need any assistance with Zoom, please reach out to any member of the bishopric or respond to this email.
Homes with a worthy priesthood holder are authorized by the bishop to administer the Sacrament in the home.
There will be no cleaning of the building on Saturday mornings during the building closure (The Relief Society was scheduled this week).
The Sunday Night Youth Fireside will be held at the Bischoff's instead of the church on Sunday March 7 at 6PM (4911 Magnolia Lane, Bay City, Texas 77414).

Bay City Ward Family,

We are letting you know that our ward family has lost a dear friend, Buddy Biggerstaff. He passed away on Wednesday of this week. The family will have a memorial service at a later date and we will let you know when that will take place. Our prayers and love go out to Maggie and all of their family at this time.
