Wednesday sermon recap‼️

“No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” — Luke 9:62

When we make the decision to truly follow Jesus, we have to make up our minds that we’re moving forward. We can’t keep looking back at what God called us out of, listening to the voices behind us, or allowing temptation to pull us back.

Commitment means keeping our hands on the plow, our eyes on Jesus, and our hearts surrendered to His will.

We’re not going back. We’re moving forward. 🔥

Sermon Recap‼️

This month we are on the topic of COMMITMENT. 🔥

Pastor Art brought a 🔥 word to LC Students last Wednesday on “Make up your mind”

Daniel made up his mind before the pressure came, before the temptation came, and before the opportunity to compromise ever presented itself.

He already decided: I will not defile myself. I will not compromise. I will honor God.

That’s commitment.

Commitment is making up your mind before the moment comes. So when you’re faced with pressure, you don’t have to figure out what you believe. You’ve already decided.

Make up your mind. Set your heart. Stand firm.

A generation set apart. 🔥
