Notes from one of our teenagers last week.

Last Wednesday at LC Students, we talked about the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Book of Daniel chapter 3—three young men who refused to bow to the idol even when everyone else did.
We challenged our students to stand firm in who they are in Christ, not bowing to the pressures, idols, and standards of this world. Consecration means living set apart for God, even when it’s difficult.
The question we left them with was simple but powerful: What is something in your life that you’ve been bowing to that God is calling you to stand against? 🔥

God is moving in LC Students, come be part of it.

We’ve been having some powerful nights digging into who Jesus truly is — fully God and fully man. We’ve been talking about how He was tempted in every way we are, yet lived without sin.
So often as teenagers, it’s easy to think, “God doesn’t understand,” or “He doesn’t know what I’m feeling or going through.” But the truth is, He does. Jesus came close. He walked this earth, felt what we feel, and understands us more deeply than we realize.
