Christmas & New Year’s Day Schedule of Catholic Services
Father Anthony Madanu and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Baxley, Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hazlehurst and St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Alma welcome all visitors (Catholic and non-Catholic).

Regular Sunday morning schedule on Sunday, Dec 21 (4th Sunday of Advent).
7:00 pm Saturday Dec 20 - Bilingual at St. Frances of Rome in Alma 8:30 am - Sunday Dec 21 - English at St. Rose, 12:30 pm - Spanish at St. Rose. 10:30 am - Bilingual at Good Shepherd in Hazlehurst.

The Christmas schedule will be as follows:
Christmas Eve - Wednesday, Dec 24

On Christmas Eve there will be a bilingual Mass at 7pm at St. Frances of Rome in Alma At 10:00pm there will be Mass (Midnight Mass) in English at St. Rose of Lima in Baxley.

Christmas Day - Thursday, Dec 25

On Christmas Day at St. Rose of Lima in Baxley there will be an English Mass at 8:30 am and a Spanish Mass at 12:30pm. At 10:30 am there will be a bilingual Mass at Good Shepherd in Hazlehurst. This is the same as the regular Sunday Mass schedule.

The New Year’s Day Schedule will be as follows:
THIS IS A HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION - Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God

New Year’s Eve - Wednesday, Dec 31
On New Year’s Eve there will be a bilingual Mass at 7pm at St. Frances of Rome in Alma.

New Year’s Day - Wednesday, Jan 1
On New Year’s Day at St. Rose of Lima in Baxley English Mass at 8:30am and a Spanish Mass at 12:30pm. 10:30 am there will be a bilingual Mass at Good Shepherd in Hazlehurst. This is the same as the regular Sunday Mass schedule.

St. Rose of Lima is located at 1520 City Circle Road in Baxley. Good Shepherd is located at 259 Baxley Highway in Hazlehurst and St. Frances of Rome is located at 1497 12th Street W in Alma.

UN RECORDATORIO DE QUE EL DOMINGO ES NUESTRA RECOLECCIÓN MENSUAL PARA EL BANCO DE ALIMENTOS DEL CONDADO DE APPLING.

***ESTE DOMINGO***

Solo un recordatorio de que necesitamos cualquier artículo no perecedero y sin fecha de caducidad. Se necesitan especialmente PopTarts, latas de artículos como salchichas de Viena, espaguetis, carnes enlatadas/envasadas como atún y comidas, también paquetes individuales de galletas, dulces y papas fritas. Siempre se necesitan bolsas de plástico para compras y se aprecian las bolsas de tela para libros/compras o mochilas usadas en buen estado. También puedes hacer una donación monetaria si lo prefieres. Por favor, haz el cheque a St. Rose, pero márcalo para el Banco de Alimentos en la línea de asunto. Si pones efectivo, por favor colócalo en un sobre marcado para el Banco de Alimentos o se añadirá a las donaciones del ofertorio regular. Por favor, trabajemos todos juntos como una sola parroquia para poder hacer una gran donación de St. Rose. GRACIAS!

A REMINDER THAT SUNDAY IS OUR MONTHLY COLLECTION FOR THE APPLING COUNTY FOOD BANK. ***THIS SUNDAY***

Just a reminder they are in need of any unexpired non-perishable items. Especially needed are PopTarts, cans of items liek Vienna Sausages, Spaghettis, canned/packaged meats like tuna, and meals, also individual packages of crackers, cookies and chips. Plastic Grocery bags are always needed and cloth book/shopping bags, or gently used backpacks are always appreciated. You can also make a monetary donation if you prefer. Please make the check to St. Rose, but mark it for the Food Bank in the subject line. If putting cash in, please put it in an envelope marked Food Bank or it will be added to the regular offertory donations. Please let us all work together as one Parish to be able to make one large donation from St. Rose.
