🎀 What a beautiful and special moment at FAB as we dedicated sweet baby Charlotte Futch to the Lord!

Charlotte is the daughter of Bro. Hunter and Sis. Briana Futch, a lifelong member of FAB. How touching to watch another generation being raised in faith and surrounded by the love of her church family.

“For this child I prayed…” — 1 Samuel 1:27

May God’s hand forever rest upon Charlotte’s life, guiding her steps and keeping her covered in His love. What a blessing to see faith continue from generation to generation!

🤲🏾 Today, we pause to celebrate and say a heartfelt THANK YOU to our FAB Ushers!

Sunday after Sunday, you faithfully stand at your posts, welcome us with love, help maintain order in God’s house, and serve wherever you are needed. Your ministry may often happen quietly, but your faithfulness never goes unnoticed. We appreciate the time, dedication, and heart you give to serving God and His people.

A special thank you to Rev. Sylvester Lett for the powerful Word from Matthew 5:9: “Ushers, you are blessed to be a peacemaker.” What a beautiful reminder that ushering is more than showing someone to a seat—it is a ministry of welcome, service, order, and peace.

To our ushers—keep serving with gladness, keep welcoming with love, and keep standing faithfully at the doors of God’s house. You never know how your smile, your kindness, or your peaceful spirit may prepare someone’s heart to receive what God has for them.

💐This past Saturday, the FAB Women’s Ministry was blessed to welcome Ms. Juanita M. Adams as our guest speaker. Ms. Adams shared from the heart on the topic of grief, offering biblical encouragement and practical wisdom for walking through seasons of loss while holding on to our faith.

She reminded us that grieving is not a sign of weak faith. Even Jesus wept at the tomb of Lazarus. We were encouraged to bring our pain honestly before God, hold on to Scripture, allow others to mourn with us, and remember that God is near even when grief remains difficult.

Our Women’s Ministry is designed to give the women of FAB opportunities to fellowship together, grow together in faith, and draw strength and encouragement from one another.

We thank Ms. Adams dearly for sharing with us and giving us biblical tools to help us cope with grief spiritually. What a beautiful reminder that we do not have to walk through sorrow alone—God is present, and we have one another.
