Corin Read Christian Camp from DREAM to REALITY

• In 1896, the Reads bought 110 acres in Bauxite, Arkansas in the Sardis Community.
• The Reads are the grandparents of former members at Northside Church of Christ, Melva (Ball) Wallace and Dayle Ball.
• In 2006, 110 years after the purchase of the land, Melva and Dayle donated the land to the Northside Church of Christ in order for the Church of Christ to be known in the Sardis Community.
• The Northside Church of Christ Elders and other Church members decided a Christian camp would be an ideal start.
*Progress has been slow, but thankfully because of our donors like you, we have always been and will continue to be debt free. 🌼 A Little Camp Treasure 🌼
While exploring the grounds at Corin Read Christian Camp, we were blessed to discover this beautiful yellow cactus bloom tucked among the trees and pine needles. What might seem like an ordinary patch of ground suddenly became a reminder of God's incredible handiwork.
"Consider how the wildflowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." — Luke 12:27
This delicate flower blooms for only a short time, but its beauty points us to a Creator who cares about even the smallest details of His creation. As campers arrive this week, we pray they will take time to notice the wonders around them, grow closer to God, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
