📖 Dear Diary,
This week in the church office, we have entered a sacred and ancient season of the United Methodist calendar…
Charge Conference Prep. 😳
A magical time when paperwork multiplies overnight, forms appear that no one remembers seeing before, and every time you think you’ve finished something, another document quietly whispers:
"But did you get the signatures?" 👀
So we’ve been gathering reports, checking numbers, organizing paperwork, tracking down information, crossing T’s, dotting I’s, and generally trying to convince Charge Conference that Sardis UMC is, in fact, a functioning organization. 😂
At this point, the printer and I are no longer coworkers.
We are battle buddies.
The copier has seen things.
The stapler is exhausted.
And somewhere in the office is a folder that I KNOW I put somewhere safe… which means we may never see it again.
But fear not! We are getting everything together, the paperwork mountain is slowly shrinking, and Charge Conference will be here before we know it.
Until then, we’ll be in the office armed with coffee, determination, prayer, and an unreasonable number of paper clips.
Dear Diary… pray for the printer. 😂🙏
