This is the hour of the passing of the generals of our lifetime.
For many of God’s warriors who have carried the flame of revival in one hand and the sword of His Word in the other are now finishing their assignments.
They have fought the good fight.
They have poured out their lives as a drink offering.
They have paved highways of holiness, and through their obedience, they have tilled the ground of nations.
But I hear the Holy Spirit saying, “their mantles are not to die with them.”
Their tears were not in vain.
For Jehovah is releasing a divine transfer of assignment, a heavenly changing of the guard.
The sound of footsteps is shifting in the Spirit.
God is calling forth a new generation of generals—a people who will not build monuments to what was, but altars for what is coming.
A generation is rising that will not settle for borrowed oil.
We are a generation that will not live off the fumes of yesterday’s revival.
We will not merely quote the stories of Kathryn Kuhlman, Smith Wigglesworth, Oral Roberts, Reinhard Bonnke, and Billy Graham- we will carry the same fire that consumed them.
This is not a season to grieve the loss of the old.
It is a season to grip the mantle of the new.
Do not say, “Where are the prophets of old?”
For the Lord is raising prophets in your midst.
Do not say, “Where are the intercessors who shook nations?”
For He is birthing new ones who will travail until His glory fills the earth.
For even now, He is igniting a generation that will not flinch in the face of persecution.
We will not shrink back when culture mocks us.
We will be voices crying in the wilderness saying, “Prepare the way of the Lord!”
The sound of the passing of the generals is not a funeral march, it is a commissioning call!
What the past generation started, we will finish.
What they saw in part, we will see in fullness.
For we serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob… the God of legacy.
The generals of yesterday are being welcomed home, but the army of tomorrow is being summoned now.
This is the hour of the changing of the guard.
But, our father’s stories do not end with their amen.
Their prayers have become the foundation stones of our future.
The tears they sowed in secret will become the rivers of our revival.
Their ceiling will be our starting line.
Their last breath of intercession will be the first wind in our lungs.
What they longed to see, we will walk in.
What they prophesied, we will possess.
Their battles have become our inheritance.
Their victories have become our launching pad.
And the Lord says, “Do not waste what they paid for.”
We cannot take lightly what cost them everything.
For this is the hour of a generational convergence.
The oil of the fathers and the fire of the sons are merging to ignite the greatest move of His glory the earth has ever seen.
