Invitation to Participate!

Seeking Clark County singers, actors, and a pianist for a Christmas dramatic musical based on a Tolstoy novelette of a poor Russian cobbler who believes Christ will visit him before Christmas.

All words are sung with piano accompaniment. Small cast needed: The Cobbler (baritone), his wife (soprano), a friend (baritone), an old lady (soprano), a young woman (2nd soprano or alto), and 4-8 carolers (SATB). Leads need to be able to read and memorize music; prior choral experience preferred for all.

Four TBD performances during the holiday seasons on two different weekends.

If interested, please contact Cherry Grove Community Production ([email protected]) before 8/31/26.

A simple audition may be required to determine the best part for you depending on prior experience. Group rehearsals commence after Halloween as needed; individuals’ rehearsals will be prior to that.
