Regarding the Governor’s news about this school year.........
I know this probably makes some of you students excited- I know our seniors are not! Please take a couple minutes today to pray for our seniors! Graduation is a HUGE milestone in life! One of the first BIG ones!! Seniors, it’s ok to cry, to grieve, to be upset— it’s ok to have all of the emotions!! Just make sure you’re coping with this grief in a positive way!! Parents and loved ones of a senior, let your student grieve- let them cry- let them talk it out - let them be quiet- don’t tell them to “get over it” - they need to process and part of that process involves their tribe!! Remember no one has been here before!! So be honest with them, talk it out with them, but most importantly PRAY with them!!
To all of you, students or support tribes — remember this.... we can TRUST God even when it hurts, even when it doesn’t feel good, even when we have no clue!!! Invite Jesus into the process with you!! We haven’t been here before - we don’t know what to do - BUT HE DOES!!! He can be trusted! We may not have all of our questions answered but even in the question marks we can still trust!! “Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and LEAN NOT on your own understanding! In all your ways acknowledge Him and HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH!!!” Proverbs 3:5-6
We are praying for you!! If you have any questions or just need to talk reach out to us!!!
We love you so much! You will make it through this!!
Praying for you,
Jimmy & Sherina Sours and the Landmark Youth team!!
