This is a small area at Goguac Lake in Battle Creek. This area is a picnic area a short distance from a swimming area. It is easily accessible right off SW Capital Avenue.

Today there seem to be a lot of huge carp near the lake shore (not in this area but other places on the lake shore). They’re very entertaining with their splashing. Maybe it is carp mating season.

This verse really goes well with today’s sermon!!

Tongues of fire rested on the believers, and fear turned into boldness. Silence turned into proclamation. Ordinary people were filled with Holy Spirit. Acts 2 wasn’t just a moment in history—it was the birth of a Spirit-filled Church. 🙌

The same Spirit still moves today.
Still fills hearts.
Still empowers voices.
Still ignites fire within us. 🔥

We are not called to live empty—we are called to live filled.

🕊️ “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” (Acts 1:8)

🔥 Let the fire fall again in us.

Short Prayer:
Holy Spirit, come and fill us afresh today. Ignite our hearts with Your fire, give us boldness to speak, and lead us in truth and power. Let our lives reflect Jesus in everything we do. Amen. 🕊️🔥
