Praying for everyone impacted by the tornadoes. May they find strength and peace in this difficult time.
Lifting up our community and the brave first responders and volunteers working tirelessly in the aftermath of the storm.

Remembering Lou Holtz, legendary Notre Dame football coach. Coach Lou Holtz was the keynote speaker at the 1993 Community Prayer Breakfast. Known not only for his remarkable success on the football field but also for his deep faith and inspiring character, Coach Holtz shared a message that resonated far beyond sports.

As we remember his visit, we also extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and fans.

In light of the heartbreaking events in recent days, our hearts are heavy. The world feels shaken, but we believe there is strength when God’s people unite in prayer.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14

We invite our entire community to join us for a virtual, city-wide prayer gathering:

-Friday, September 12th
-12:00 PM (Noon)
-Live on YouTube (link will be shared here on our page before we begin)

Our pastor, Mike Howard, will lead this time of prayer, covering our city, our schools, our families, and our nation. Together, we’ll lift up our burdens, stand in the gap, and call upon the Lord for healing and peace.

This is a 30-minute prayer gathering, and anyone can join. No screens, no names - just a shared spirit of unity and intercession.

Now more than ever, we need to turn our eyes toward God and intercede on behalf of our communities. Please mark your calendars, share this with friends and family, and join us as we stand together in prayer.

Let’s unite as one body, lifting up our voices to the One who hears.

Love for Enemies

27 “But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies; do good to those who hate you; 28 bless those who curse you; pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If anyone strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from anyone who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you, and if anyone takes away what is yours, do not ask for it back again. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 If you lend to those from whom you expect to receive payment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 Instead, love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return.[a] Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, for he himself is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Judging Others
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven; 38 give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap, for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.”
