First Salem Missionary Baptist Church First Salem, one of Battle Creek's oldest churches was organized in 1927. A Church for the Community. Senior Pastor: Bishop Designate Leon Coleman III

Since it was organized, the church has enjoyed a rich history as an integral part of the community through its ministry and activism. Realizing that the community is faced with many social ills, it is our desire to be an example of Christ in our love, care and concern for others.
