Last weekend, Sokuzan asked Shuǐ Wǔ and Ö Lam to go to Chinatown, Chicago to represent SokukoJi for a very auspicious event and ceremony, since he could not attend the invitation himself. The ashes of the Buddha and four of his disciples were brought over from Malaysia by a group of monks.  the guest of honor and speaker was Bhikku Bodhi who translated many of the Buddha‘s words into English helping to bring Buddhism to the West. 🙏🏼🌆
