Adult Sunday School class will continue to study “A Run Through the Protestant Reformation.” In this study, we will review a timeline of Reformation events and major figures, the major documents from the period, and issues which caused the reforms. We will meet in the fireside room of the parish house at LCOS. All are invited to attend; Sundays at 10:30am, following Sunday worship and fellowship.

Martin Luther’s theses included the ideas that the Bible is the central religious authority and that salvation is achieved through faith, not deeds.
Luther's translation of the Bible from Latin to German made it more accessible to the general public. This had a significant impact on both the church and German culture.
Luther's theological beliefs are the basis of Lutheranism. His teachings included the idea that salvation is a gift from God's grace, and that all baptized Christians are a holy priesthood.
Luther's ideas changed the course of religious and cultural history in the West.
