Every call has a story.
In this special video, Rev. Dr. Kim McGee shares how God called her into ministry and her journey to becoming an ordained deacon. Her story is a powerful reminder that God continues to call people to serve in unique and meaningful ways.
As we listen to her story, we also celebrate two significant milestones in The United Methodist Church: 70 years of the ordination of women and 30 years of the Order of Deacon. We give thanks for the faithful women who have answered God's call, broken new ground, and continue to lead with wisdom, compassion, and grace.
We are grateful that Rev. Kim brings her expertise in chaplaincy and caregiving to our congregation, offering Christ's presence, comfort, and hope during life's most difficult seasons.
