Assembly 2026 was a powerful reminder of what happens when we open our hearts and doors wide. We are deeply grateful to Reconciling Ministries Network for their sponsorship and their unwavering commitment to intersectional LGBTQ+ justice and inclusion.

One of the best highlights of visiting Indianapolis was having the opportunity to stay at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis-Downtown-Union Station. It is an historic hotel because of its’ location in the first Union Station. When I looked out the door of my room, there was a train sitting there. The train is located on the second floor and has 26 sleeper cars that are available for your stay if you are a train enthusiast. The Louisiana Conference United Women in Faith delegation was housed on the second floor of the newly redesigned hotel. Throughout the hotel are statues in white and other historical artifacts. I’ve never seen anything like this. It was quite a thrill!
