Wesley UMC - Baton Rouge We, the Wesley United Methodist Church family, are excited to be ministers of God’s mercy and grace in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

We've been here since 1866. But today there’s a fresh movement of God’s Holy Spirit in our midst, invigorating us as we grow disciples, care for our city, and share the redemptive, transforming love of Christ with a changing world. We are growing and gaining wisdom and divine favor in our daily walk together. We hope you will visit, share in the Wesley experience, and become a part of all that we seek to do in serving and glorifying God through our various ministries.

A major milestone is being celebrated at Wesley United Methodist Church as the church marks 160 years of faith and community service. Church leaders said generations of families have worshipped there since it was founded in the 1800s.
