The Franciscan Experience

Rising juniors and seniors in high school gather for 6 days to embody the mind and heart of St. Francis of Assisi.

Francis through service, theological formation, and our Catholic faith to discern God's call to them while building authentic friendships. The Franciscan Experience is an outreach ministry of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a chance for rising juniors and seniors in high school to gather as a community in support of each other to dig deeper into the heart

of Christ through the eyes of St. Participants will enhance their servant leadership by way of theological and ethical formation and discussion, service to the poor and marginalized, and profound participation in the Catholic faith and tradition. All these things will provide for them a strong foundation toward their formation and using their God given gifts to share and encounter Christ.

We are ONE MONTH AWAY from TFE 2026! Today on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus we want to officially reveal our 2026 theme and logo (one day early). Our theme this year is “Behold, I Make All Things New” which comes to us from Revelation Chapter 21. When the Lord uses the word behold in scripture it is for the purpose of turning our gaze, pulling us from what has held us captive towards something new and truly captivating. Pulling us out of what we have known and inviting us into the newness of his blessed life; a call into mystery, into uncharted waters, into story and into adventure. Often our response can be one of fear, but do we trust that what he has for us is better than we could have ever imagined? A deeper, richer, fuller truth and beauty than what we could have known? His invitation into the new first begins with an invitation to simply see him and let him see you “Behold”. Come see what fullness the Lord has for you at TFE 2026.
