Oops, I goofed! Please note that we will have Saturday worship at 5:15 p.m. (not 6).
If you know of people in the Baton Rouge area please invite them to worship with us. We had a great time of worship and fellowship last Saturday, it would be a shame for our friends to miss out.

Outreach today at Goodwood with Friendship Baptist and Riverside Baptist @ 3 pm. We'll go out from 3-5 then return to share and pray. Hope to see you there.

WOW!!! What a great turnout and what a great time! Thank you all for coming out. Let's continue in prayer for those who we are reaching out to.

Three things we're praying at Goodwood Baptist Church:
1) Divine appointments - grace to recognize them and courage to fulfill them.
2) Laborers & Resources to accomplish the ministry that is before us.
3) Partner Churches - Friendship & Riverside Baptist. (It is a blessing to know you and serve together. Looking forward to what the Lord will do in and through our fellowship.)

Rain or Shine we will meet this Saturday (June 28th) from 3-5 for Outreach; 5-5:40 for Brown Bag Meal; and 5:45 for worship with Riverside Baptist Church and Friendship Baptist and hopefully you! Look forward to seeing you there.

Last Saturday's Outreach update. Great turnout, good visits, encouraged pastor and his wife! Thank you to all who came out. It went well for the first time. We'll do it again on the 4th Saturday of June. Hope you can come. Please be praying in the interim.
Best attendance in church the next day! The Lord blessed your obedience.

Let's get together!

We've had to make a couple of changes for this week's outreach.

Since many of those coming will be attending another event earlier in the day we're going to leave off the worship time, this time only. That way you'll all be ready for worship at your church the next day.

So, everything else remains the same:

Meet at 3:00 for prayer and a brief training and go out afterwards. Please pray that God will show us those persons He is working in to bring to salvation and/or to join us as part of Goodwood Baptist.

Please pray for one of our ESL students. She is Hindu, attends church here regularly, and is our friend. Her mother-in-law, who lives in another state, is at the brink of death, please pray that God would use this in our friends' life to bring her to Christ. She has heard the gospel for over two years. She is limited in her English but we're trusting God to break through and save her.
