We have changed the start time for our regular Sunday service and Sunday school. The Sunday Divine Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and Sunday school will start at 10:00 a.m. We hope you will join us.

We hope you will join us for Holy Week Services:

Maunday Thursday - no services at Good Shepherd, but you are invited to attend the service at St. James @ 6:00 p.m.

Good Friday - 6:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd

We will not have an Easter Vigil Service this year.

Easter Sunday - Potluck breakfast and Easter egg hunt @ 9:30 a.m. followed by Divine Service at 11:00 a.m.

Dear Sheep of the Good Shepherd

This coming Sunday, March 10, we are scheduled to have a special guest at our 1030 Divine Service. Rev. Dr. Thomas Winger is the President of Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary in St. Catherines, Ontario. This is a seminary of The Lutheran Church-Canada, with which our beloved Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod is in fellowship.

Dr Winger is actually in Louisiana to visit our beloved State with his wife, Sara--who, by the way, was Laura Anderson's roommate at Concordia College, Ann Arbor and one of her best friends growing up. President Tom and Pastor Paul were called to different service paths in the Church; but the two of us brilliantly married the two most wonderful ladies at our College.

Please plan to attend, if at all possible, to hear a few words from Rev..Winger and to encourage him and our seminary in their most vital work.

Sunday, December 24: NO MORNING SERVICE, Christmas Eve Candelight Service @ 5:00 p.m.
Monday, December 25: Christmas Day Holy Communion Service @ 10:00 a.m.

We will have an Advent Service tonight (Dec 13) at 6:30. It will be a Vespers Service with no communion. We have a new Christmas tree and can use help setting it up prior to the service at 5:30. We will not be having a soup supper tonight.

We will not be having our traditional Advent season soup suppers this year. However we will have Advent services at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. This week Pastor Peterson will be conducting the service.
