Yesterday’s Father’s Day Message from Pastor Ric:

Families rise and fall on the strength of the man leading them.

As I reflect on the condition of our nation, I am convinced that the greatest crisis in America is not education, politics, crime, or even the economy. The greatest crisis is the lack of godly manhood.

This issue runs much deeper than whether a man is physically present. A man can be in the house and still not lead his family toward God. Presence is important, but spiritual leadership is essential.

Our homes, churches, and communities need men who know who they are in Christ. Men who are willing to pray, serve, lead by example, and stand firm on God’s Word. Men who understand that their greatest assignment is not merely to provide for their families, but to point their families to Jesus Christ.

A godly man is not a perfect man. He is a man who trusts God, follows God, and is committed to growing in God.

Imagine what would happen if fathers led their homes in prayer, husbands loved their wives as Christ loved the church, and men boldly embraced their God-given responsibility to lead with humility, wisdom, and faith.

The future of our families depends on more than financial stability. It depends on spiritual stability. When men take their place in God’s order, families are strengthened, generations are impacted, and lives are transformed.

The question for every man is not simply, “Am I present?” The question is, “Am I leading my family closer to God?”

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

At First Love Church, we believe church is more than a Sunday service, it’s a community.

Our heart is to build genuine relationships where people feel seen, loved, and encouraged. Pastor Ric isn’t just here to preach on Sundays; he’s approachable, accessible, and committed to walking alongside people as they grow in their faith.

We believe the Word of God should do more than inspire you, it should equip you to live differently on Monday, Tuesday, and every day after. Every message is rooted in Scripture and taught in a way that’s practical, relevant, and life changing.

If you’re looking for a place where you can grow, ask questions, build authentic relationships, and be challenged to become more like Christ, there’s a place for you at First Love Church.

We’re not just building a church, we’re building a family.

“Who Planted That Seed?”
Reminder from Sunday’s message- Pastor Ric Rheams

Not Every Thought Came From God

How do I know?

The enemy works to destroy the seed.

What are you entertaining? Who planted the thought?

Everything starts with a seed.

Because you obeyed, you are about to see the fruit.

If God said it, then obey.

He knows what you have to offer to God.

Faith started as a seed.

If it doesn’t line up, bind it up.

Water the seed.

People lose commitment because they don’t know how to handle the seed.
