Spiritual gifts were never meant to be about us. They’ve always been about loving and serving the people around us.

We can have incredible gifts, great faith, and all the right words, but without love, we’ve missed the point.

The Holy Spirit empowers us not to draw attention to ourselves, but to point people to Jesus. Every gift is an opportunity to reflect His heart, build others up, and make a difference in someone’s life.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how gifted we are. It’s about how well we love people.

We were WIRED for more, and love is at the center of it all.

God sees what we can’t see.

This Sunday was special as we celebrated Child Dedications, standing alongside families as they committed to raising their children to know and follow Jesus. :heart:

We also continued our WIRED series, unpacking the Gifts That Reveal and how the Holy Spirit can give us wisdom, knowledge, and discernment beyond our natural understanding.

But revelation is never about proving how spiritual we are. When God allows us to see what others might miss, it’s an invitation to carry His heart into that moment.

Our prayer is that we would be a church that listens carefully, stays rooted in Scripture, walks in humility, and uses what God reveals to love people well.

We were never meant to be spectators in the Church.

This week, we kicked off WIRED by looking at what Scripture actually teaches about the gifts of the Spirit and why they’ve been given to us.

The gifts aren’t about becoming impressive or building a platform. They’re about ordinary followers of Jesus becoming available to an extraordinary God.

The gifts are His. The power is His. The glory belongs to Him. Our response is simply, “Holy Spirit, I am available.” 🙌

Tomorrow, we begin WIRED—a new series exploring the Gifts of the Spirit and what it looks like to live available to God, confident in His Spirit, and fully devoted to His purpose.

The gifts aren’t about elevating us. They’re about building His Church, serving others, and pointing people to Jesus.

Come ready. Come expectant. And come asking one question:

Following Jesus was never meant to be one part of our lives.

He wants our whole heart. Our relationships. Our priorities. Our plans. Our time. Even the parts we’d rather hold onto.

Fully devoted doesn’t mean perfectly devoted. It means continuing to come back to Jesus and saying, “You can have all of me.”

Not just on Sundays.
Not just when it’s convenient.
Not just when life is going well.

Every day. Every decision. Every part.

This is what matters. A life fully devoted to Jesus.

The thoughts we return to become the pathways we walk in. 🧠

That’s why having a Sound Mind isn’t about thinking the truth once. It’s about returning to the truth of God’s Word again and again until truth becomes our new response.

Through God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit, old patterns can be broken, our minds can be renewed, and new pathways can be formed.

Still thinking about this night 🌍 🙌

Encounter Night was such a beautiful reminder that the mission of Jesus reaches far beyond the walls of our church.

We had the privilege of worshiping together, praying for the nations, and surrounding some of our Global Missions Partners who have said yes to carrying the hope of Jesus around the world.
But the call to GO belongs to all of us.

Across the street or across the world, we each have a part to play in helping people know and experience the love of Jesus.

Life Church, may we always be a church willing to GO wherever God sends us.

A sound mind isn’t built in a moment. It’s built through daily surrender.

Throughout this series, we’ve learned that God offers us peace, gives us purpose, and calls us forward. But living differently requires practicing differently.

Paul gives us a rhythm: rejoice, pray, think, practice, repeat.

Because transformation isn’t found in information alone. It happens when the truth we know becomes the way we live.

So maybe this week it’s worry → prayer.
Scrolling → Scripture.
Isolation → community.
Criticism → gratitude.

You don’t have to change everything at once. Start with one thought. One habit. One faithful decision.

What old cycle is God asking you to break—and what new rhythm is He inviting you to build?
