Please join us for St. John's Fish Fry on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

The menu will include breaded Walleye, Catfish fillets, Chicken strips, Home fries, Coleslaw, Baked beans, and a variety of desserts. All for a free will offering.

Donations will go to support Swaddling Clothes Ministry of Salem Lutheran, Jacksonville IL.

St. John's invites you to VBS!

Join us July 6-10th for "River of Life", this year's Vacation Bible Scool program featuring five favorite Bible stories: creation, Noah and the ark, the crossing of the Red Sea, Jonah, and the baptism of Jesus. Come learn more about the deeper theme that unites these five stories: water and God's plan for your salvation!

VBS will be held each evening from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Classes are available for all age groups including adults.

SAVE THE DATE!!

VBS will be July 6-10th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St John’s.

Classes will be available for all ages (including adults) on Creation, the Flood, the parting of the Red Seas, Jonah, and Jesus' baptism.

The theme running through all the lessons is baptism and how God put to death our enemy and gives us life through His word and baptism.

You are invited to enjoy a menu of biscuits and gravy, corned beef and hash, ham, scrambled eggs, and homemade pastries all for a donation of your choice.

Funds raised will go toward the support of the IL State Fair Booth for the Lutheran Layman's League of Central Illinois.

Maundy Thursday services will be held at Salem in Chandlerville at 7:00 p.m.

Good Friday services will be held at St. John's at 7:15 p.m.

Easter Sunday sunrise services will be held at St. John's at 6:30 a.m. with Easter breakfast following.
