Our church is a place of second chances and new beginnings. If you are looking to worship, belong, grow, and serve, come join us! Sunday evening and youth classes: 6 p.m.

So proud of our youth at Athens Chapel for leading such a wonderful service today! ❤️⛪️

Ben Hux, you did an amazing job sharing God’s Word and reminding us of “The Key to a Godly Household.” What a blessing it is to see our young people willing to serve, lead, and grow in their faith.

Thank you to everyone who had a part in making today’s service so special. Great job, Athens Youth! Keep letting your light shine! ✝️💙

🙏 Back to School Prayer 🙏

As our students head back to school, we ask our church family and community to join us in covering them in prayer. ❤️

Please pray for a wonderful and successful school year, for God to protect our students wherever they go, and for Him to guide their hearts, minds, decisions, and friendships.

Pray for their teachers, administrators, bus drivers, coaches, staff, and families who will encourage and care for them throughout the year. May our schools be filled with kindness, patience, wisdom, safety, and opportunities for every student to grow. 📚✏️

Most of all, we pray that our young people will remember that God goes before them and walks beside them every single day. May they have the courage to stand strong in their faith and be a light to those around them. 💙

Lord, place Your hand of protection over every student as they begin this new school year. Guide them, strengthen them, and help them make this a year filled with growth, joy, and purpose. 🙏

Here’s to a blessed and wonderful 2026–2027 school year! 🍎📚

🏈 The Men’s Fantasy Football League is officially in full force! 🏈

We had a great time at the draft, but I think everyone would agree that the best part was time spent together. ❤️ A little competition, plenty of laughs, some questionable draft picks 😂, and a whole lot of good fellowship!

Now the teams are set, the trash talk can officially begin, and bragging rights are on the line! 🏆

The ladies of Athens Chapel had such a wonderful time of fellowship tonight at Fish Hooks! 💕🍽️ There’s nothing better than good food, lots of laughter, and sweet fellowship with sisters in Christ. So thankful for this special group of ladies and the time we get to spend together! ❤️🙏
