Have you ever wondered what God saw when He looked at the cross?

He saw Jesus, yes. But He also saw everything that Jesus was carrying in that moment — and that list includes you. Your sin. Your addiction. Your shame. Your worst moments and your deepest secrets. Every burden you have ever tried to carry alone was placed on His Son at Calvary.

In this clip from Sunday's message "Nailed To The Cross," Pastor Ron brings one of the most moving truths of Colossians 2:13-15 to life. Jesus did not just die in a general sense for a general humanity. He took on the specific weight of everything that separates us from God — so that it no longer has to separate us. So that when God now looks at those who trust in Christ, He does not see their sin. He sees the righteousness of His Son.

That is the cross. That is grace. That is the Gospel.

Are you good enough for God?

It is a question most people have asked at some point - whether out of pride or out of shame. Some people assume they are good enough because they try to live a decent life, treat people well, and stay out of trouble. Others feel so far gone that they cannot imagine God would ever want anything to do with them.

Pastor Ron speaks to both in this clip from Sunday's message "Nailed To The Cross" (Colossians 2:13-15). The truth of Scripture is clear: none of us are good enough for a perfect and holy God. Not even close. But that is exactly why the Gospel is such incredible news - because Jesus is good enough. And when you put your faith in Him, His righteousness covers you completely.

You do not have to clean yourself up first. You do not have to earn it. Jesus already did what you never could.

"Shake It Off" — This week's message is one you need to hear!

In Acts 28:1-5, after surviving a shipwreck, Paul shakes a deadly viper off his hand into the fire — and walks away without harm. Pastor Ron unpacks this incredible moment and brings a word that will challenge you to shake off whatever the enemy has tried to attach to your life!

And if that wasn't enough, he also pulls from Isaiah 54:17 — "No weapon formed against you shall prosper" — to remind us that God's protection and promises are real! Whatever you've been carrying, whatever has been holding you back — it's time to

Are you tired of fighting the same battles over and over again?

Maybe it is a habit you cannot shake, a pattern you keep falling back into, or a struggle you have carried so long it feels like part of who you are. You are not alone — and more importantly, you do not have to stay there.

In this clip from Sunday's message "Nailed To The Cross," Pastor Ron brings a word of real hope from Colossians 2:13-15. The cross of Jesus Christ is not just about where you have been — it is about breaking the power of what has been holding you back. Jesus came to forgive your sin and to deliver you from its grip. That includes the habits, the bo***ge, and the cycles that willpower alone could never fix.

Today's Sermon: "The Devil Is A Liar" Scripture Reference: John 8:44
The enemy has been a liar from the very beginning. In John 8:44, Jesus himself exposes the devil for exactly what he is — a deceiver with no truth in him. No matter what lies have been spoken over your life, your marriage, your family, your health, or your future, the Word of God stands greater than eve-ry one of them. Today, we declare that the devil is a LIAR and that truth belongs to those who walk with Christ.
We pray this message blesses you, strengthens your faith, and reminds you of the power and authority you have in Jesus.

He Took Your Place.

The cross was not an accident, and Jesus was not simply a victim of circumstance. He willingly stood in our place - taking the punishment we deserved, bearing the sin we carried, and absorbing the wrath that was meant for us. That is what it means that Jesus is our substitute.

In this clip from Sunday's message "Nailed To The Cross," Pastor Ron walks us through Colossians 2:13-15 and brings to life the staggering truth of what happened at Calvary. The debt was real. The penalty was real. And so was the One who paid it all.

If you have never truly understood what Jesus did for you on the cross, this clip is for you. Watch the full service and learn more about The River Church at www.theriverchurchlive.com.
