It is time to open your mouth and tell the devil to shut up.

Not tomorrow. Not after you feel better. Not once things calm down. Right now. Today. Because eve-ry single day you stay silent is another day the enemy gets to speak lies over your life, your family, your health, your future, and your faith — and enough is enough.

John 8:44 tells us that the devil is a liar and the father of lies. There is absolutely no truth in him. So every thought that says you are not good enough — that is a lie. Every whisper that says God has for-gotten about you — that is a lie. Every voice that says your best days are behind you — that is a lie. Every fear that says this situation will never change — that is a lie.

We are drawing a line in the sand today. We are standing on the Word of God today. And we are tell-ing the enemy with everything we have — we will not believe your lies anymore.

Share this with somebody who needs to take their power back today.

Happy Mother's Day!

Join us for today's worship service as we lift up and celebrate the mothers who have shaped our faith, our families, and our futures!

Today's sermon, "Thank God For Mothers," is drawn from 2 Timothy 1:1-7 — where we see the powerful legacy of a praying mother. The Apostle Paul reminds young Timothy of the genuine faith that first lived in his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice. That faith didn't stop with them — it was passed on, and it changed a life.

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) So much of that power and love we first experienced through our mothers.

Whether you're watching with your mom, honoring her memory, or simply grateful for the women who poured into your life — this message is for you.

The devil is not always going to come at you with something obvious. Sometimes his most deadly lie is simply this — "You have plenty of time."

He will let you enjoy the service. He will let you feel the conviction. He will even let you say "I know I need to give my life to Christ." And then he will whisper "but not today — you have time." And people have died believing that exact lie.

The Word of God does not say tomorrow is the day of salvation. It does not say next week, next month, or next year. Second Corinthians 6:2 declares that NOW is the accepted time and TODAY is the day of salvation. Not because God is trying to pressure you — but because He loves you too much to let the enemy keep stealing your time.

Your heart is beating right now by the grace of God. Do not let another day pass without settling your eternity.

If this clip spoke to you, share it with someone who keeps putting off that decision. It could be the most important thing you do today.

"Shake It Off" — This week's message is one you need to hear!

In Acts 28:1-5, after surviving a shipwreck, Paul shakes a deadly viper off his hand into the fire — and walks away without harm. Pastor Ron unpacks this incredible moment and brings a word that will challenge you to shake off whatever the enemy has tried to attach to your life!

And if that wasn't enough, he also pulls from Isaiah 54:17 — "No weapon formed against you shall prosper" — to remind us that God's protection and promises are real! Whatever you've been carrying, whatever has been holding you back — it's time to

No matter what you are going through — there is hope.

The devil wants you to believe it is over. He wants you to feel like you have gone too far, waited too long, or fallen too many times for God to still be working in your situation. That is a lie. That has al-ways been a lie. And it will always be a lie.

The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is the same God who is able to breathe life back into your marriage, your family, your health, your finances, and your future. There is no pit so deep that His grace cannot reach you. There is no sin so great that His blood cannot cover it. There is no situa-tion so broken that His hands cannot restore it.

Do not give up. Do not give in. There is hope and His name is Jesus.

Share this with someone who needs to hear this right now. You never know whose life it might save.

Welcome to The River Church — Bath, NC
We are so glad you are joining us for today's worship service! Whether you are worshipping with us in the building or watching from home, know that you are welcome here.
Today's Sermon: "The Devil Is A Liar" Scripture Reference: John 8:44
The enemy has been a liar from the very beginning. In John 8:44, Jesus himself exposes the devil for exactly what he is — a deceiver with no truth in him. No matter what lies have been spoken over your life, your marriage, your family, your health, or your future, the Word of God stands greater than eve-ry one of them. Today, we declare that the devil is a LIAR and that truth belongs to those who walk with Christ.
We pray this message blesses you, strengthens your faith, and reminds you of the power and authority you have in Jesus.

Be careful — the devil rarely comes at you with an obvious lie.

He is far too crafty for that. He will give you 90% truth, make you feel comfortable, make it all sound reasonable — and then slip one deadly lie right in the middle of it. That is exactly what makes him the most dangerous deceiver who has ever existed.

A half truth is a whole lie. And if you are not deeply rooted in the Word of God, you will never even see it coming. He did it in the Garden of Eden. He did it when he tempted Jesus in the wilderness. And he is doing it today in your life, in your relationships, in your finances, and in your faith.

John 8:44 says there is no truth in him. Not 50%. Not 10%. None. So do not be fooled by the 90% that sounds right — stay in the Word and expose every lie.

Read this slowly.

"Sin will take you farther than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay."

That is not just a quote — that is a warning. The devil will never show you where that sin is taking you. He will never tell you how long it will hold you. He will never reveal the price you will ultimate-ly pay. Because he is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

John 8:44 exposes the enemy for exactly what he is. And this clip from "The Devil Is A Liar" breaks down the true cost of sin in a way you will not forget.
