From Adyn: "Men of North Mississippi and the Mid-South, this is just a small sample of what you can expect from Dr. Matt Carter when he joins us for the 1st Annual Mississippi Men’s Summit on January, 23rd 2027.
Come hang out with us as we open the Word, give away some cool stuff, and watch God do what only He can do!"

October is Pastor Appreciation month and this morning we got to recognize our lead pastor, Bro. John Howell, and our missions pastor, Bro. Jeremy Richey!

We are so blessed at BCC for the love and leadership of not just Bro. John and Bro. Jeremy, but also of Jennifer and Amy and their families!

We prayed up our Chainsaws for Jesus crew as they packed up and headed to Milton, Florida this afternoon to help with hurricane recovery and share the love of Jesus! Pictured are Spencer Turner, Michael Smith, Billy Williams, Missions Pastor Jeremy Richey, and Andy Red.

8 MONTHS OLD and the Lord continues to bless this church! In the past month…

•Adults and children have trusted Christ and testified of their faith in Him through baptism. May we be faithful in discipling these new believers to grow spiritually and to serve well within the body of Christ.

•We’ve had missionaries whom we support to make personal visits to BCC and give reports—Doug Schermerhorn, who ministers in Panama/Colombia; and James and Paula Anthony, who minister in Honduras. They are among nearly 15 local and international missions to whom we currently provide monthly financial and hands-on support.

• We took steps to organize and begin promotions for the 1st Annual Men’s Summit, scheduled for Sat., Jan. 23, 2027. This will be a challenging and encouraging evening for men, with a strong slate of speakers coming to visit (details of event in the photos below). This event is for men in our region who desire to truly serve the Lord and lead their families well, so, men, please consider registering. Also, please help us spread the word.

•In a desire to make deeper connections with the Lord, and with each other, we have been blessed with our second month of active “community group” fellowships in local homes. Men’s and women’s ministries also are active, bridging the lives of older and younger believers.

Please pray…
•That we remain submitted to the Head of the church, Jesus Christ. The goal remains—stay biblical and basic:
1) Preach the Word!
2)Love each other well
3)Love our community well

•That we follow God’s will for the renovations of The Post, the ministry headquarters, located in the former VFW building (365 Hwy. 51S, Batesville, MS). We thank the Lord for allowing us to purchase and install new windows there, and look to Him to reveal and to fund the next steps.

Please check out our YouTube channel (Batesville Community Church) if you’d like to learn more. Thanks for praying for this local church.
