Are you pursuing Jesus for what He can give you, or for who He is?

In John 6:22-28, Jesus confronts a crowd that followed Him across the Sea of Galilee -- not because they recognized the Son of God, but because He had fed them. His words cut straight to the heart: "Do not work for food that perishes, but for the food that lasts for eternal life." The crowd wanted a formula. Jesus gave them one answer -- belief.

Doing is not the same as believing. No amount of church attendance, good works, or self-improvement can substitute for placing your faith in Christ. His sacrifice on the cross was not meant to lighten your load. It was meant to finish it.

If you have been searching for life anywhere outside of Jesus, today is the day to see clearly for the first time.
