Little eyes are always watching. 👀💛
As parents, our kids are learning so much more from us than just the words we say. They watch how we treat people, how we handle frustration, how we respond when things don’t go our way, and how we live out our faith.
We can tell them to be kind, but they learn even more when they see us being kind.
We can tell them to pray, but they learn when they see us pray.
We can tell them to trust God, but they learn when they watch us trust Him through the hard moments.
The good news is that being a good example doesn’t mean being a perfect parent. None of us are perfect! It means that when we make mistakes, we show our kids what it looks like to apologize, ask for forgiveness, and keep following Jesus. 🙏🏼
“Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1
Our children may not always remember everything we say, but they will remember the example we set. Let’s keep pointing them to Jesus. 🤍
