S.O.S Blacklight Drama Team Sharing the light of Jesus through puppets and dramas. S.O.S = Saved our souls! Our team is made up of Christian adults and teens who attend area churches.

We are a team of Christians that want to share the Light of Jesus with people of all ages through the use of blacklight puppets, hand mime, interpretive movement and drama. Our hope is that the Lord would move in the lives of those who see our dramas and they would trust in Him. If you are interested in joining our team please contact us by email. Adults & teens in 6th grade and up may join with

a letter of reference from their Pastor or Youth Pastor. We look forward to Sharing the Light and Hope of Jesus along with you! Our Story
Matthew 5:16 says Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Our teams purpose is to share the Light of Jesus with people of all ages through the use of blacklight puppets, hand mime, interpretive movement, drama and song. Our hope is that the Lord would move in the lives of those who see our dramas and they would trust in Him. After much prayer, in 2008 Leeanna Siekbert started a drama team at Greenbush Baptist Church as a way to involve the youth in sharing the Gospel. Candice Wright (Asbury) came up with the name S.O.S (Saved Our Souls). The next year Leeanna added blacklight puppets, skits and hand-mimes to the set. Our team has seen hundreds come to know Jesus as their personal Savior just by sharing the Gospel in this way. The team has had the privilege of sharing with many over the years, traveling around the state of Ohio and into Kentucky. We have also taken mission trips to Cleveland, OH Knoxville, TN and Kiahsville & Salt Rock in the state of West Virginia. We are blessed that during all of our trips our needs were met every time through love offerings and donations. Our team is made up of adults and teens who follow Jesus and attend area churches. If you are interested in joining our team, please contact us by email. If being a puppeteer doesn’t interest you there are many other areas to help in this ministry, such as prop making, costume sewing, stage set & and many others like propeteering, (a made-up word by one of our members to describe those who use props as we share). Adults & teens in 6th grade and up may join by affirming our statement of faith and submitting a letter of reference from their Pastor or Youth Pastor.

I know with all this heat it’s hard to think about Christmas but it’s just around the corner and this year we will be starting are Christmas show bookings on November 2nd. We had to turn some churches down last year cause we were booked every Saturday and Sunday in December and we want to make sure this year are schedule is open more. Please message us if you would like for us to come share. Our Christmas show will have lots of new puppets and we are so excited to share!
