A PRAYER AGAINST GUN VIOLENC
God, our hearts are broken with pain at the senseless deaths caused by gun violence. Families mourn,
children live in fear, and some in our nation respond by arming themselves with more guns with greater
capacity to end life. Our disconnection and alienation has caused some to turn to guns for protection

and safety. We ask that you touch our hearts with your love, heal our brokenness, and turn us away
from violence toward peace. Help us to transform our own hearts and to seek peaceful ways of resolving
our differences. Let our hands reach out and connect with those who feel alone, those who live in fear,
and those suffering from mental illness. Let our voices be raised asking our legislators to enact gun laws
to protect all in our society, especially those most vulnerable. Let our pens write messages demanding
change while also scripting words of hope and transformation. We ask this in the name of OUR God who
desires that we live together in peace. Amen.

God is saying stop trying to manipulate and twist the word of God to justify your own selfish desires.

In all thy wisdom get an understanding it is time for us to comprehend and demonstrate wisdom and knowledge at a whole new level. Proverbs 4:7

So let's move past the fundamentals of Christology and toward maturity. Leaders! It's time for us to provide an example of faith and follow God's direction. It's time to make the wicked accountable for their wicked deeds. even if you are a leader who has fallen from the grace of God, REPENT!! Turn from your sinful ways and return to God. A small amount of falsehood or untruth can spread quickly in someone's heart or in the bodies of believers. When I say unto the wicked, ‘Thou shalt surely die,’ and thou givest him not warning nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way to save his life, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand. Ezekiel 3:18

Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.” Hebrews3:15

Words are powerful, God created everything by the power of His spoken word Genesis 1, and as people, at times we tend to use our words recklessly. Solomon wrote in Proverbs 18: 21 that death and life are in the power of the tongue. The power of life and death can be seen in jury trials, witnesses and jury members can speak words that might determine whether a defendant lives or dies. just as we can speak Words that encourage and give hope and joy, in the same breath we can speak words of Discord, destruction, and sorrow. Jesus said, “I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken” (Matthew 12:36). every empty and idle word” says, “every careless word.” The Greek phrase is rema argos, meaning “careless or inactive or unprofitable words.” context, Jesus is contrasting the “good things” within a good person with the “evil things” in the heart of an evil person. We are admonished to make the best use of our words because words express what is in our hearts: “The mouth speaks what the heart is full of” (Matthew 12:34). There is no better judge a person’s heart than the words he allows to come forth from his mouth. Just like good trees produce good fruit and bad trees produce bad fruit, so does the mouth reveal the heart’s condition But it’s not just evil words for which people must give account. God created us to encourage, respect, Build up, and esteem one another higher than ourselves. Let's keep in mind to bring glory to God with our words. God is saying to someone don't give up! your breakthrough Is near Don't throw in the towel just yet!! and do not lose faith. The trial and suffering your experience it's only a test I know it seems like you're at a crossroads and you do not know which way to go but I hear the Lord say to stand still and wait on the salvation of the Lord, Just as Moses told the Israelites in the wilderness To stand still and not be dismayed Stop murmuring and complaining, In other words the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18. God Is fighting on our behalf and he shall win the fight we must keep the faith, and don't give up Somebody says I'm standing on the word of God!! Hallelujah! Glory! to God!! Some people, decide to get into the fight to make a difference in life. Some are indecisively caught between the two opinions and some are spectators who have an opinion about "everything but not a solution about anything which one will you choose to be for Christ today will you be a part of the solution or the problem, I know the enemy is boastful and loud and great in numbers, God's word declares if I and I be lifted I will draw all men unto thee. On the cross, we encounter God’s justice through the judgment of sin, God’s love and mercy through the forgiveness of sinners, and God’s power through His defeat of Satan (Romans 3:21–26; Colossians 1:13). the Lord was lifted upon the cross that he may offer deliverance and healing to all who will come and make a stance. Will you decide to take a stand for righteousness, and declare for God I live and for God, I die, let's start with being the change we desire to see. We have a duty in Christ to be strong (Ephesians 6:10), to fight (2 Timothy 4:7), to be separate (2 Corinthians 6:17), to be courageous (Joshua 1:9), to suffer (1 Peter 3:17), to be persecuted (2 Timothy 3:12), to be hated (John 15:18). YOU SHOULD HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME. Exodus.20:3. Everything in life requires balance having the natural knowledge of men without a Godly- Spirit led life, is dangerous this is not to tell anyone NOT!!! to pursue their desires and aspirations, where we live in a natural and competitive world which requires the natural substance and knowledge to succeed accordingly to man. God's word declares he has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness, the danger is depending on the natural substance of man without understanding it is LIMITED!! Now Faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11: 1. God's word is power it has the power to create a door where there wasn't one before, healing when the physicians are unable too, and wealth out of the smallest of resources. Everything in our life requires a sacrifice God made the ultimate sacrifice he died for our sins that we may have the right to the tree of Life. Let's stop treating God like a genie in a lamp, we only stroke him, praise him, and lift him up, when it is convenience to our needs but until that time comes we'll running around indulging in everything but God. Think about this for a moment, what happens when all your fancy degrees are up on the wall staring back at you but your health has failed, will you be able to call upon the degrees on the wall for the answer that you desperately seek, will you be able to assess and figure out the angle and the dimension to correct your situation. God desires that we prosper and be in good health even as I soul prospers 3rd John 1:2. The word prosper translates embarking on a journey toward completeness flourishing physically grow strong and healthy. SOMEBODY SAY BALANCE!!
