Islamic Society of Basking Ridge - ISBR

ISBR is a not-for-profit 501 (C)(3) tax exempt religious organization registered in New Jersey. IRS Tax Exempt Tax ID: 27-4808552

OBJECTIVES
o Establish a mosque with facilities to hold Jumma, Tarawih, Eid and other regular prayers;

o Establish an Islamic Sunday school with a comprehensive program of religious, social and leadership studies;
o Organize Tafsir-ul-Qur’an for adults, sponsor invited lectures by intellectuals and thought leaders, hold intergenerational discussion programs, such as family study circles;
o Organi

ze meaningful programs to engage Muslim youth in the activities of ISBR and to develop their leadership skills; and

o Serve the needs of the Muslim community in festive celebrations such as of Eids, weddings and in times of sorrow when there is a loss in the family, as resource and a social gathering place. o Hold services Promote inter-faith and intra-faith dialogues to create a better understanding of Islam and to improve relations between Muslims and people of other faiths.
