Good Friday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Who Do You Say that I Am?” In today's devotion we discuss how Jesus is not just another self-help guru; He is our Lord, Savior, and King. This question for Christ's followers, both then and now, is about His authority and whether His disciples would stake their lives on who He truly is.

Scripture - Matthew 16:15

Action Question: Where in your life does your confession of Christ as Lord still compete with your desire to remain in control?

Prayer: Lord, search my confession. Expose where it is verbal but not heartfelt and honest. Establish Your authority in me. Remove all hesitation. Let my allegiance to You be whole. AMEN.

Good Thursday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Come and See." In this devotion we are remined that Jesus does not order us to follow Him, He invites us to do so. He does it this way because He wants us to see for ourselves firsthand, up close and intimate. We also learn that the Christian life is not about mastery. It is about being with the master.

Scripture - John 1:39

Action Question: Are you seeking information about Jesus, or are you seeking Him?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, draw me nearer to You. I do not want information about you only. Let me see You clearly and know You up close. I desire real relationship with you. AMEN.

Good Wednesday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Compassion." In this devotion we discuss Jesus' call for us to join Him in not seeing interruptions as inconveniences, but as opportunities to meet needs. We do this as Christ becomes central in our lives.

Scripture readings: Matthew 9:36 & Philippians 2:13

Action Question: Where have you grown indifferent to people Jesus would stop for?

Prayer: Lord, shape my heart after Yours. Let Your compassion move me for Your glory and for the good of others. AMEN.

Good Tuesday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Things Promised." In this devotion we discuss that not every promise is fulfilled within the timeframe we expect. Faith in what we do not yet see is not denial of reality. It is confidence in Christ above the realities of this world.

Scripture readings: Hebrews 11:13, 2 Corinthians 5:7, & Matthew 14:29-30

Action Question: Where are you walking primarily by what you can see, rather than entrusting what you cannot see to God?

Prayer: Lord, keep me faithful even when fulfillment is still ahead. Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight. AMEN.

Good Friday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “The Valley of the Shadow of Death." In today's devotion we discuss how Psalm 23 does not promise the absence of valleys and tough times; it assumes them as God guides us through them. The guidance of God is not primarily about your comfort. It is about Him. He leads for His name’s sake. He remains for your good. Those are not competing realities. The glory of God and the care of God meet in the Shepherd who walks beside His people.

Scripture - Psalm 23:3-4

Action Question: Where are you tempted to interpret a difficult season as abandonment rather than shepherding?

Prayer: Shepherd of my soul, keep me under Your hand. In light or shadow, let Your name be honored in how I follow You. AMEN.

Good Thursday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “My Thoughts Are not Your Thoughts." In this devotion we discuss how we often do not struggle merely with unanswered questions. We also struggle with the reality that God does not think on our level. This is not meant to frustrate faith. It is meant to humble it and bring us into obedience. Faith does not demand full explanation. It bows before the One whose wisdom exceeds it.

Quote: "The gospel itself is built on this tension (not in mastering every detail, but in surrendering the need to). A crucified King. Strength displayed in weakness. Life emerging from death. None of it would have been written by human instinct. Yet all of it reveals the wisdom of God."

Scripture - Isaiah 55:8-9

Action Question: Where have your expectations about how life should unfold quietly shaped your disappointment?

Prayer: Lord, Your thoughts are higher than mine. Teach me to trust Your wisdom when mine falls short. Let my expectations yield to Your will. AMEN.

Good Wednesday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Testing of Your Faith." In this devotion we discuss how the tough times are what strengthens our faith. Testing does not diminish faith; it clarifies it. It drives roots further down into the character of God. And rooted faith holds.

C.S. Lewis quote: "“Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”

Scripture - James 1:2-3

Action Question: How has difficulty strengthened you in ways comfort never could?

Prayer: Lord, let my faith grow steady through what tests it.

Good Tuesday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “You Are My God." In this devotion we discuss that God does not define "good" the way we do. We want it to be about comfort and convenience. God sees "good" as all things ultimately working toward Christ Jesus' glory and our part in that ongoing story. We are also reminded that trust is not optimism about circumstances; it is settled confidence in the character of God when circumstances remain unclear.

Scripture readings - Romans 8:28 & Psalm 31:14

Action Question: Where do you find it hardest to believe that God is actively working toward His good purpose in Christ?

Prayer: Father, my times are in Your hand. When I cannot see the pattern, anchor me in Your sovereignty. Form Christ in me and glorify Your name through every season.

God Bless ... Pastor Dean
