Good Thursday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “For Christ’s Love Compels Us.” In this devotion we discuss how it is not duty or obligation that compels us to reach out in love to other people. We are compelled by the love of Christ that lives in us through the Holy Spirit. Christ’s love cannot remain contained; it must be shared.

Scripture - 2 Corinthians 5:14

Action Step: Today, move toward one person you would normally overlook. Begin a real conversation. Stay present. Let love lead.

Prayer: Lord, let Your love govern me. I do not want to live unmoved. AMEN.

Good Wednesday morning, everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Father, Forgive Them." In this devotion we speak to Jesus' forgiving those that had harmed Him as He hung on the cross. He did not wait for their spoken repentance because Jesus refused to let their violence define His heart. Forgiveness is not forgetting the wound, it is not letting the wound rule. We include a reading from Corrie ten Boom's autobiography "The Hiding Place" about forgiveness before concluding with the reminder (lesson) that we cannot carry the heart of Christ and cling to resentment.

Scripture - Luke 23:34

Action Question: Is there someone you are still holding responsible, still holding in resentment? Will you release them? (I add: Why won't you forgive them?)

Prayer: Lord, I have held onto what You told me to release. Soften what has hardened in me. I choose to forgive.

Good Tuesday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Jesus Loved Them to the End.” In this devotion we discuss how Jesus loved the disciples despite knowing Judas would betray him, Peter would deny him, and the others would abandon him. This is love formed in God, not in response to others behavior. We then learn that if we withdraw from loving others, it reveals that our lives are focused on ourselves, not Jesus.

Scripture Readings - John 13:1 & 1 John 4:11-12

Action Question: Where have you quietly withdrawn from someone because loving them became difficult?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, teach me love that endures beyond comfort. AMEN.

Good Monday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “A Long Way Off." In today's devotion we touch upon the parable of the prodigal son and how God is always searching for his lost children. We are then reminded that God’s mercy is patient, rejoices, and fully restores.

Scripture Reading - Luke 15:20

Action Question: Are you watching and waiting for someone?

Prayer: Lord, You are patient, not wanting anyone to perish without You. I confess how often I rush to judgment or give up entirely. Give me a heart that prays with patience, watches with hope, and longs for restoration without resignation. AMEN.

Good Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning everybody. In today's message titled "Strong women of the Bible: Rahab" we celebrate that no past is too broken and no label is too permanent for the redeeming power of God. Rahab’s faith demonstrates that when we recognize who God truly is and act on that belief, He not only rescues us but rewrites our identity and places us into His greater story. What begins as a story of survival becomes a legacy of salvation.

Scripture reading – Joshua 2:1-21 (NIV)

Communal prayer to close message: “Father God, thank you that our past does not define us, but your grace does. give us the faith to trust who you are and the courage to step into the new story you are writing. AMEN”

Good Friday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Jesus Touched Him." In this devotion we discuss how Jesus crossed boundaries to heal a l***r. We then discuss our call to reach out to others instead avoiding them.

Scripture - Mark 1:41

Action Question: Who in your world feels untouchable to you?

Prayer: Lord, show me where I hide behind distance. Give me courage to move toward people without fear, and keep my heart anchored in You as I do. AMEN.

Good Thursday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Jesus Wept." In today's devotion we discuss why Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem was marked by tears. He was weeping over people who had been visited by God and were about to refuse Him. His tears were for a people committed to their own understanding, their pride, their religiosity, their self-protection and false safety. We are then challenged to examine where we stand on these things as well as on the spectrum of rejection.

Scripture - Luke 19:41

Action Question: When was the last time someone’s spiritual condition genuinely moved you before God?

Prayer: Jesus, I have not wept over what You wept over. Break up the hardness in me. Give me a heart for others. AMEN.

Good Wednesday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Jesus Had Compassion." In this devotion we discuss how Jesus saw the hurt in the people He encountered which led to actions of healing. We are then challenged to examine how we see others:
* as interruptions.
* as obstacles.
* as categories.
* as those who are carrying weight, lost without direction.

Scripture - Matthew 9:36

Action Question: When you look at the people around you, what rises first in you: judgment, indifference, or compassion moved toward action?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, change my heart. Let me see people as You see them. I surrender my indifference, selfishness, and pride. Replace my hard heart with compassion that reflects Your love. AMEN.

Good Tuesday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “Jesus Is the Same." In today's devotion we discuss how having our lives built with Christ as Lord, Savior, and King enables us to withstand the storms of daily life. If He is your foundation, storms test but do not destroy.

Scripture Readings: Hebrews 13:8, 1 Corinthians 3:11, Matthew 24-25

Action Question: When life gets bumpy, what does it reveal about the foundation?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, steady my life in the certainty of who You are. Fix my foundation firmly in You, so that when pressure comes, I stand because You do not move. AMEN.

Good Monday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series “Everyday Faith - a Journey with Jesus from the Inside Out” by GO MOVEMENT with “You Have the Words." In this devotion we discuss how true life can only be found by following Jesus. There will be times when we are tempted to allow the things of this world to distract us, but departure from Jesus only brings us death.

Scripture - John 6:53-68

Action Question: When following Jesus becomes difficult, where are you tempted to look for substitutes?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, steady my loyalty. When I do not understand, keep me anchored in what I know to be true about You. Guard my heart from wandering toward what cannot give life. AMEN.

God Bless ... Pastor Dean
