☀️Starting tonight the volunteer team for children & youth programs will take a break through July except for VBS which is June 14-17. Wed night suppers are also suspended through July. The kitchen team will return refreshed too!

The nursery for under 3 yrs old will be staffed tonight.

Wednesday night prayer and worship service continues as usual at 6:30 pm.

Bring your youth to the Wednesday night services this summer. Pastor John delights in ministering to young and old.

🇺🇸This morning we enjoyed comments from Army Veteran, Dickie Stewart. Thank you for reminding us of the sacrifices, bravery & commitment of our military. 🇺🇸

In remembrance of our veterans who have gone on, flags are placed in Rosewood Cemetery at Barwick Baptist Church.

Thank you to veteran Hank Glover who heads up this project for Veterans Day & Memorial Day.

We heard the sweetest performance from a ladies ensemble today accompanied by Harriet on piano. Just beautiful.

I’m sorry I caught only a little of it. I was enjoying it so much I didn’t think about recording.

Today we officially welcome John Page as our pastor! John has been our Interim Pastor for several months.

We are happy to welcome John and his wife, Cindy, and look forward to his pastoral leadership.

Also, in the previous post, please take a look at the opportunity to attend a VBS training and information meeting on Sunday, May 31st immediately following worship. Lunch provided.

We always have a wonderful VBS with the best volunteers.
There’s no better way to make June special!

VBS Announcement! 📣
We will have a VBS training meeting Sunday, May 31st directly after church in the fellowship hall. All VBS volunteers are encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided. Bring all of your VBS questions to the meeting. I will have volunteer packets with all the information you will need to pass out at the meeting. Please reach out to me privately if you can not attend. Thank you! I look forward to an amazing VBS because of all of you!
