Lookie, lookie FPB church family!! 👀 The church is getting a little mini-facelift today. There is a huge crew of workers around the fellowship hall. They are planting beautiful new landscaping and sod. 😍 We also have the new door installed on the fellowship hall🥰 Good things are happening at First Presbyterian Bartow!!💕 Also, much thanks to Elder Jason Hamer for his leadership and vision. 😊

Happy Thursday everyone! Today, Grace Diner will be open. Grace Diner is a wonderful ministry at First Presbyterian Bartow that supports feeding the homeless and less fortunate in the community. Every Thursday from 3:30-4:45 (sit down) a hot meal is prepared and served. It’s an amazing ministry to witness. Many members of the congregation come together weekly and cook a complete meal, then serve the meal working as waiters and waitresses.

First, they serve the guest with their choice of drinks and a salad. Once they are almost done with their salad, they bring out the main course. Then, once they are finished eating their dinner, they are served their choice of dessert. During the school year, a group of young musicians volunteer to come and play music while the guest eat dinner. Once the guest has finished eating, we load them up with bags of groceries for later.

While serving those that come in to dine, the members supporting this ministry are talking to, showing love, praying for, and telling them about Jesus. If you would like to join this wonderful ministry, please let us know. We’d love to get you connected.

We are making the final preparations for our 2026 VBS. We are thankful for all the volunteers and hard work that has gone into making it a great success. We love our children in the community and will be intentional about sowing God‘s word into their soul. Thank you Sis Michelle for your leadership efforts and hard work. 🙂

2026 Youth Camp is Officially over!! Be on the look out. We will be getting with everyone soon for a Bowling field trip!!

Well, it’s our 4th and final full day of 2026 Youth Camp. Today’s adventures consisted of several biblical and practical hands-on teachings on the Parables, working in the City of Lakeland Nursery, playing with bugs, hay rides, games, a trip to WaWa, Chick-fil-A, etc. Most of all, many friendships were made or strengthened this week as they grew in Christ. Many went to the altar this week for the first time, and others made fresh commitments at the altar. All were touched, and it was beautiful to witness.😍🥲
The youth learned a lot about working together and helping each other spiritually and physically. They even attempted to learn the “The Church Clap Dance” together😂 This has been an amazing Youth Camp that I know none of us will ever forget. I wanted to give a big THANK YOU to all the church staff that assisted our youth at camp 🥰 Also, a special thank you to Sis Bailey for being the wonderful leader and planner in making Youth Camp a HUGE success!! Lastly, thank you to all the parents that trusted us with their most valued possession this week, their children. 💕💕 Enjoy the video😊
