The Source of the Gifts
1 Corinthians 12:4–7
This week we opened our Spiritual Gifts Series with one powerful truth:
There is something in you that God Himself put there.
Paul reminds us that every believer is gifted — not by accident, not by talent, not by personality, but by the Holy Spirit. Your gift is a divine deposit placed in you on purpose, for purpose.

Three things we learned today:
1. The Spirit Is the Giver Your gift doesn’t come from popularity, position, or pedigree. It comes from the Holy Spirit — intentionally, specifically, and lovingly.
2. The Gifts Are Diverse Wisdom, teaching, mercy, leadership, healing, administration, faith… Different gifts, same Spirit. Different roles, same mission. Different expressions, same God.
3. The Gifts Are Given to Everyone No believer is gift less. No believer is purposeless. No believer is spiritually insignificant. If God saved you, God gifted you.
Your gift matters. Your gift is needed. Your gift is powerful.
And today, we began stirring up what God placed inside us.

Next Sunday, we move deeper.
If Week 1 taught us where the gifts come from… Week 2 will teach us why God gave them.
We’ll explore how your gift builds the church, strengthens unity, and serves the Kingdom. If Week 1 awakened your identity, Week 2 will awaken your purpose.
Get ready — your gift is about to find its assignment.

“There Is Power in the Stretch”
Mark 3:1–5
Sometimes God calls us to do the uncomfortable thing — to step out of what’s familiar, to expose what we’d rather hide, to stretch in faith.
In Mark 3, Jesus tells a man with a withered hand, “Stretch out your hand.” He was in the right place but still broken… in worship but still wounded… present but still ashamed. Yet when he stretched, he was healed.
Family, that’s our phrase for today:
There is power in the stretch.
Power in obedience.
Power in trusting God beyond our comfort.
Power in believing that healing happens when we move at His command.
Stretch today — and watch God release power.

Heavenly Father,

Meditating on Your word, with an open, expectant, and loving heart, “Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭25‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Thank You for the blessing of a new day and the ending of a blessed week. Your loving kindness never ceases to amaze me as I am so undeserving. Please continue to keep me and those that I love and cherish under Your protective wing. Bless their comings and goings as they move and have their being. Heal them in the places of need, strength their resolve for challenges and problems, and increase the peace that can only come from You as they prepare for rest, renewal and restoration this weekend. Create places and spaces in which we can share the great news of You as we continue to give You the glory, the honor, and the praise in Jesus name, Amen.💜🙏🏽
