“Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭51‬:‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I am not perfect and though my sin is forgiven in God’s eyes, the failures sometimes are harder to let go of. The Psalmist here after having failed and sinned before God longs for a renewing of his spirit. We should strive to have a pure and clean heart before God so that our relationship with Him does not suffer.

This is something that I think we all struggle with. It’s easy to love those that love us, but God’s love is meant for everyone and we need to show that love, even to those that don’t love us.

This is a verse that has helped me as I grow. Never be ashamed or timid of our belief in God and his Word! It is powerful and can change lives and is worth standing up for!

Good evening,

Take a moment and be thankful for the life that God has given you! Everyday there is something that we can be thankful for and be joyful for. Philippians 4:4 says ““Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.”

Sometimes it’s good to just stop and have moment of personal worship and adoration of our Lord. This is a personal favorite song of mine based on this passage of Scripture. I hope it is an encouragement to thouse that listen.

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

A challenge from the apostle Peter that it is God that exalts us in his timing. Too many people today are focused on exalting their own life and status and are discouraged when things do not work out for them. But the call for believers is to be humble. As John the Baptist said “He must increase and I must decrease.” However, it is not just putting ourselves down, it is humbling ourselves UNDER the mighty hand of God. We need to submit our will to His and let God exalt in His timing.

Bible verse for today 1 John 5:13

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

I eluded to this idea in my last video, but God does not desire us to wander this life in confusion and doubt. He gave us his Word and his teachings so that we could KNOW for a surety that we would have eternal life. Too many people today either doubt they have Christ or refuse to believe you can know him; the more we study his word and dig in to find the hidden treasure of his word, we to can know what we believe. I hope this Bible study will be a help to those that desire to know God and know that they can have eternal life!
